What Does this scan Result Mean?

Hazy densities are seen in the right upper lobe - chest pa/lateral Apicolordotic view of the chest shows streaky densities in the right upper lung field- chest alv Imppression: right upper lobe ptb. What does this means? I dont have the symptoms of tb and the doctor said i have a history of having tb. And she told me to undergo 6 mos treatment. Am i infected? Do i have an active tb? Im confuse. Please help me understand this. Laylah

1. The findings may represent an old tubercular infection.
2. You should get a HRCT of thorax done before proceeding with the treatment.
3. Besides that sputum examination and ESR should also be done to establish ACUTE infection.
